Mos Def has rejoined the Breed Love posse, and they are playing their first of two shows at the 9:30 Club tonight, which is about two miles south of where I now sit. I don’t have tickets, so I’ll be watching him in “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy” on my TV about 30 feet south of where I now sit instead. A poor substitute to be sure.
If any readers out there are going to the show, send me your photos and videos of the show!

I wasn’t sure I would be in town, given the holiday. By the time I knew I would be around, it was sold out. I could have tried to pull strings and get on the list, but I’m also getting married this weekend, so I’m busy as ish.

I love Mos Def. He’s the one to inspire me to start writing poetry. If I have known that he was coming to town, I would have attended the show. When is the next time Mos will be in town?
