From Press The Issue comes the Katrina Klap video! The video features footage of post-Katrina New Orleans as well as Mos Def live in the studio, and adds powerful visual imagery to his already scathing lyrics.
I’m trying to get my hands on a downloadable copy to keep in the archives. If you have any background on the video or know where a non-streaming version can be found, post in the comments.

This song is bad. I love Mos and can’t wait for his new album but hope this isn’t on it. By the way what happened to all the Democrats that were neglegent during Katrina as well? Does their complacency and idiocy not count? Why does Nagin get a free pass? I would someday love for people to look at facts instead listen to people who don’t know what their talking about, Katrina has been twisted for people’s personal gain.
