Mos Def will make a guest appearance on the upcoming album by The Roots, titled Game Theory, according to AllHipHop.com. Mos Def has joined The Roots on two previous albums, Things Fall Apart and The Tipping Point.

The Roots will also be joined by Mos Def’s friend and collaborator Talib Kweli on the new album. According to the article, there are also rumors that former US President Jimmy Carter might appear on the album. Definitely watch out for more info on that!

No official release date for the album has been put out by The Roots’ new label, Def Jam Left, but some sites say it will hit stores around February or March of 2006.
